Darren Lockyer spoke to media earlier today about the new head coach Anthony "Hook" Griffin and the situation in which the team finds themselves.
The skipper said they all felt for Ivan, but the best thing to do for the club and the fans is to move forward. He pointed out that "Hook" has not come from another team, and that despite the fact that round one is just around the corner, the players were comfortable at the morning training session and he doubted there would be much disruption to the preparations.
The champion Bronco stressed that the team is 100% supportive of the new head coach, while vehemently denying the rumors about a falling out between himself and Henjak. He also said he understood that fans might be worried, but that getting over the past days is priority one.
Anthony "Hook" Griffin said that he is ready to coach and that his focus right now is on getting the team ready.
