Excitement:
Since Darren Lockyer announced he will be retiring at the end of the season all eyes is on him, and how well the rest of the team can preform for their skipper.
Caution needed:
Panthers can come out firing on all cylinders. They have something to prove. Also there needs to be caution in focusing too much on Darren Lockyer. I know we can't have this season go on like all others, but that would be the ideal, put his retirement in the back of your heads and just play good footy.
Players To Watch:
Dale Copley - Getting a starting jersey after having been brought in after already having played the NYC game in the game against Canberra. It will be interesting what this youngster can produce when ready and prepared to play a NRL game.
Players In Need Of Improvement:
Wallace needs to become more consistent. He was a little too sloppy, and mouthing off at the ref when your team has the penalty is never a good idea. Goose indeed, so lets see some less goosy behavior this week.
Estimated Outcome:
Broncos win. Either by not much at all, or a nice, comfortable high score.
Other:
Players out on injury at the moment are:
Jordan Kahu - ACL, not coming back this season
Josh Hoffman - Corked shin, due back round five
Scott Anderson, due back round six.
We're going to be enjoying every second of this game, and enjoying every second of Darren in his last season.
Go The Broncos!
